What I&#8217;m about to present challenges a limit that engineers and physicists have taken for granted for more than a century.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The problem everyone believed was unsolvable<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every electric motor on the planet fights an invisible phenomenon: <strong>counter-electromotive force<\/strong>, the <em>back-EMF<\/em>. It&#8217;s the resistance that means the faster a motor spins, the more energy it takes just to hold that speed. It&#8217;s why every electric motor in use today \u2014 from cars to wind turbines, from pumps to datacenters \u2014 dissipates a significant share of its energy as heat and internal resistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We&#8217;ve always tried to reduce it. Never to remove it. Because we believed it was fundamental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What this limit costs the world<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This constraint is not an engineering footnote. It shapes the energy cost of our entire civilization:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Datacenters<\/strong> that consume gigawatts could run on a fraction of that energy.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bitcoin mining<\/strong>, <strong>artificial intelligence<\/strong>, servers \u2014 the entire global digital infrastructure rests on systems subject to this loss.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Electric vehicles<\/strong> could travel radically different distances on the same batteries.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Water-pumping systems<\/strong> in developing countries could run at a fraction of today&#8217;s cost.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">In the InfiniX motor, I&#8217;ve eliminated it<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not reduced it. <strong>Eliminated it.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is not an incremental improvement. Electricity, equations, the principles of thermodynamics: this is my home ground. I know exactly what back-EMF \u2014 counter-electromotive force \u2014 is, what induction is, and what the laws of dielectrics, magnetism and electromagnetism say.<\/p><p>So let&#8217;s be honest: when you know those laws, what Christophe claims looks, at first, like nonsense. It was, they said, impossible. Nikola Tesla, however, \u00abdidn&#8217;t know it was impossible \u2014 so he did it.\u00bb He invented the principle of the rotating magnetic field. And to make his point, he reproduced the egg of Columbus: showing that what everyone judged impossible really only called for a change of perspective.<\/p><p>Christophe showed me his \u00absecret.\u00bb His principle. It is simple, it is effective, and above all it rests on a completely unexpected way of thinking. It is so simple and so logical that, once you see it, everything changes \u2014 to me it was self-evident. It works. It&#8217;s logical. It&#8217;s brilliant. It&#8217;s innovative. And that&#8217;s when I thought back to Tesla&#8217;s egg of Columbus.<\/p><p>The experimental results, obtained through several different measurement protocols, are there \u2014 and clear enough (<strong>50 W<\/strong>) to demonstrate that the principle works. The facts speak for themselves. Once you know the principle, you immediately understand why and how it works\u2026 and you no longer find it surprising at all.<\/p><p>I truly urge you to come to the event: Christophe will show you what he showed me.<\/p><p>Our ambition is twofold: to protect the commercial exploitation of this principle, but also to make it public and open source, for everyone who wants to use it themselves, for themselves.
