Joining Projet Atlas takes a few minutes. Here is exactly what happens — from the transfer to receiving your membership card — with every detail and the answers to your questions.

The journey in 5 steps

    Make your transfer

    Make your transfer to our Wise account (Belgian IBAN), usable from Europe as well as outside the SEPA area (e.g. Canada). Add the reference shown in red as the transfer description — it validates your payment automatically.

    Membership: €50/year (founder rate). Donation: any amount.

    Confirm by email

    On the Membership (or Donate) page, click “Confirm by email”: a pre-filled message opens in your mail app. Just send it.

    The reference is added to the email automatically.

    Get your secure link

    We match your transfer with your email, then send you a personal, secure link to finish. This link is yours alone.

  4. 4

    Complete your details

    Check your name and address (amount and date are already filled in and read-only), then submit. Submission is final.

    Made a donation? The form lets you become a member: €50 of your donation then becomes your lifetime membership fee.

    Receive your card

    Your membership card is emailed to you right away: a printable PDF in credit-card format and an image to keep on your phone.

Paid but received nothing?

Membership or donation: still nothing?

You paid your membership or made a donation, but received neither the email with your secure link nor your membership card? Waiting a few days — up to a week — is perfectly normal, the time it takes us to match each transfer with its confirmation email, by hand. Beyond a week, however, it is no longer normal: a problem is preventing that match. Your support is not lost — but we then need you to get in touch.

Why this hiccup

Our website is only 5 days old. At launch, we hadn't yet set up the unique transfer reference that now automatically ties each payment to its sender. Without it, a handful of the very first transfers couldn't be matched to their email with certainty. This is now fixed. Our association is also in the process of being created: its statutes are being filed this week. Until it has legal existence, we cannot yet enable an online payment provider such as Stripe — hence the bank transfers, which we reconcile by hand. As soon as it becomes possible, payment and membership will be automated and greatly simplified. In all honesty: we didn't expect to be victims of our own success this fast — and it motivates us more than ever to live up to your trust. Thank you, sincerely.

What to do now

Write to us right away at contact@projet-atlas.fr, stating the amount and date of your transfer, along with your first and last name. It's the only way for us to find your payment and complete your membership.

If we don't hear from you within 30 days, we will refund every amount received in full and you will simply need to start over — this time with the unique reference, everything will be automatic.

How much is membership?

How do I make the transfer?

Payment is made by transfer to our Wise account (Belgian IBAN), usable from Europe as well as from Canada or any other country.

Is the reference mandatory?

It is strongly recommended: as the description of your transfer, it automatically links your payment to your membership and avoids any confusion.

How long until I get my card?

As soon as you confirm your details via the secure link, your card is emailed immediately.

I only want to donate, must I become a member?

No, donations are free and without commitment. If you wish, you can choose to become a member at the form step.

Can I change my details afterwards?

Submitting the form is final. If there is a mistake, write to us at contact@projet-atlas.fr.

Is the form link safe?

Yes: it is personal, unique and confidential. Do not share it with anyone.

Is the card physical?

It is a digital card in credit-card format: a PDF to print and an image. You can keep it on your phone.

What does my membership or donation fund?

Protecting innovations (collective IP), funding open source, documenting technologies and running the incubator.
