Plans of the InfiniX linear demonstrator: STL files and build PDF

·2 min read

You are a Projet Atlas member: here are the complete plans of the InfiniX linear educational demonstrator. A simplified version, designed to reproduce and verify, with your own hands, the core principle described in the publication: the cancellation of a magnetic field by superposition, and the force that reappears when that field is restored.

Not a black box. Not a video to watch from afar. The exact setup, to build yourself, with your own instruments. Thank you for being here: your membership is what allows these resources to exist and this work to continue.

What you are going to verify

  1. Make a magnet invisible, without breaking itA coil wound around a neodymium magnet, carrying the right current, cancels its field exactly. From the outside, nothing is detectable any more — the magnet has lost nothing: it is reversible and instantaneous.
  2. Break the circuit, not just cut the currentAs long as the circuit is closed, a moving magnet keeps inducing a voltage. Once the circuit is open, the natural field reappears facing the second magnet, in repulsion.
  3. Observe the force that pushes — and the absence of brakingTwo magnets repel each other; no winding is pushing: the classic counter-current has no support any more. Measure it, note it, share it.

Before you start

Informed users

This build is intended for informed users: basic electronics and practice with measuring instruments are required. It is not a turnkey kit. Educational and experimental use only — no use in production or in real conditions. You build and experiment under your own responsibility.

Read the build PDF in full first: it describes the assembly order, the parts to print (STL files provided) and the measurement points. The two publications below remain the reference for understanding what you observe.

Would you rather have the motor already assembled and tested? It remains available for sale, made to order.

Want to understand in detail?

The two reference publications, open access

A 16-page guide in plain language — no equation before chapter 10 — and, for those who want the full protocol, formulas and measurements, the complete scientific publication (FR/EN). Everything the motors implement is described there.

Full video of the 18 July talk, NEXUS interview and podcasts: InfiniX, the talk — what was actually said.

Your measurements, your doubts and your results interest us: write to contact@projet-atlas.fr. A discovery that hundreds of people reproduce on their own is a truth that can no longer be ignored.

An assembly video of the linear motor, in partnership with NEXUS magazine, is in preparation — it will be added here.

Going further: the InfiniX radial motor (measurable torque) and the complete guide to the InfiniX motors.
